My journey as a custodian at Taliesin began in April of 2019, shortly after moving to the area. I knew immediately that I had found my happy place. When I’m on the estate, I feel an overwhelming calm and understanding. I’ve always had a strong connection with nature, having grown up on a dairy farm. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me hanging out on our hobby farm, spoiling our animals, or tending to the lawn and flowers…and if I’m not there, I’ve gone fishing!

Raised in Beloit, WI, Andria gravitated to the hills of the Driftless about 15 years ago. Her love for hiking, camping, kayaking, and the arts made her feel an instant connection to the river valley. Now residing in Spring Green with her husband and son, she enjoys the hustle and bustle of being a soccer mom. Belonging to the Badger Lapidary and Geological Society, her family of ‘rock hounds’ enjoys collecting too many rocks and going on digs to find more. Andria’s passion for helping people started after a trip to Haiti, where she now helps fundraise for her friend’s orphanage. It was a natural transition for her to gravitate towards a non-profit organization like Taliesin – and besides, it’s such a beautiful place to work.
